Made in Germany. The wood used comes from responsible forestry. Smaller companies often lack the financial means for certification, so the furniture is not certified, but the companies still ensure that important standards for sustainable management are adhered to. Around a third of Germany is covered by forest and most of it is used for forestry. Conscious and sustainable management of these areas is essential to preserve the forest ecosystem in the future, and no more wood should be taken than can grow back. This is particularly important because the forest fulfills countless functions for people and nature. These range from leisure and recreational activities to the habitat of a wide variety of organisms and the purification of soil, water and air to CO² reduction and climate regulation.
Application
For closing open bags and sacks, for hanging up laundry (they hold textiles or clothing firmly on the clothesline). They are ideal for crafts, for example! Postcards, advent calendars, photos and more can be attached to a string and used as a wall accessory.
Note: Before first use, the clothespins should be placed in hot water with a little soda (approx. 1 tablespoon of soda per 5 liters of water). After half an hour, rinse with cold water and let air dry.
