Application

Moisten the skin or lather it with shaving soap. Put the razor on and let it glide slowly, vertically (never diagonally across the skin) and without pressure (just use the weight of the razor) over the skin.

It takes some getting used to, but with a steady hand, the safety razor allows for a very close shave. The head of the safety razor is immobile - as is usual with safety razors. The blades are changed by unscrewing the lid.
