OU Xylitol - sugar substitute

Xylitol is birch sugar and tastes and sweetens like sugar, but is naturally sugar-free. It can be used for cooking, baking or simply as a natural sweetener.

It is antibacterial and is ideal for DIY toothpaste production as it helps maintain tooth mineralization and supports the neutralization of plaque acids. Can also be used by children.

Birkengold sources this xylitol from Finland. Since it is made from birch and beech bark, there is unfortunately (still) no way to have this product certified organic. After it has been repackaged in 25kg containers in Poland, we refill it in smaller packages for you in Berlin.
