Orange oil is a versatile oil and is extracted from the peel of oranges.
Orange, also called orange, is an evergreen citrus tree. The oil glands in the fruit peels give off an aromatic scent. Orange trees grow up to 10 meters tall. They are divided into four categories: blond, navel, bitter and acid-free oranges. Juice, aromatic orange peel and peel oil are extracted from the orange, which is used in perfumery and food flavoring.

Orange oil has a relaxing, antidepressant, mood-enhancing, calming effect and increases well-being.

The essential orange oil is produced by cold pressing the fruit peel.
Its scent is sweet, fresh with characteristic citrus notes. The main ingredient, with a content of up to 95%, is limonene.

Application

Orange oil is said to have a calming effect. The scent of orange oil is said to relieve nervousness and sleep disorders, as it is said to bring a feeling of spaciousness and deep relaxation.
In naturopathy, orange oil is often used to treat digestive problems. In massage oils or oil baths, it can help relieve cramps.
Orange oil is also effective in skin care products against inflamed, impure skin. Anti-cellulite products are also often enriched with orange oil.

Do not use undiluted, i.e. pure, 1-2 drops in e.g. 50 ml of almond oil or jojoba oil.
