From 1 day to 1 year, we let bacteria, yeasts and noble molds work to create new flavors and textures.

We come from Bremen and process mainly fresh vegetables, grains and beans from Lower Saxony and ferment them into hearty delicacies. The products are handmade and bottled in jars.

Because it is better for nature and people, we use raw materials that are produced according to organic guidelines. Umami Ferment is certified organic by the organic control body DE-ÖKO-037.
Healthy
Due to industrial food production, the art of fermentation has been virtually lost over time. Fermentation makes food easier to digest, nutrients are better absorbed and intestinal health is supported.
